What's wrong with my dat??

That was my 1st guess as well, but I have never seen the sores on the outside from flukes. Just little strings coming out of the gill plates. Did this happen suddenly? Are you treating it somehow? I would raise temp and add salt, but I don't know about rays and salt.

I have seen this exact rash / small lumps on a 3 bar indo belong to a member here. was alot more than yours.
eventually went away after several long weeks.
fish was fine and ate fine during that whole time...
eventually we thought it was proobably caused by a bite of sime sort... a bite doesnt necessarily mean ripped meat or schredded fleshhl.... perhaps the bite aggravated the skin and a minor bacteria infectiin sets in .
as long as its eating wit should recover.

It was mine that had what Ade is talking about but mine was around the annul fin so that counts out any Gil problems

Yours looks more like zits if it is then yes it is dat decease

But the zits dat decease doesn't always kill it goes and comes back a lot

If it is a ray bite which in sure mine was it can take weeks to heal
My 3 bar got jumped twice by my rays which made me think it was spreading

If it was a ray bite like mine you was very lucky the tiger never lost an eye being so close to the Gil rays don't always kill for food they kill for fun

I don't think I have any pictures left maybe Ade has one I sent him

The tank this dat was in hasn't had rays in it for months. Or atleast a month. But he was in a tank with a big 23" tig. He and the tig were always fighting. I noticed that the day started flashing some. I started noticing he was pretty red in from of his gills. Not on the gills but in front of them.
I recently set up a new tank and moved this dat, no longer with tig but with rays, within the next few days found this. He don't close his mouth all the way. A friend recommended moving dat incase it was contagious, and so I could treat if necessary. So the dat is now in a separate tank alone.
