The tank is ready and stable. Ever since they put him in the bag to take him home he has been this way.

EDIT* Did you mean until I make sure the other fish are OK ?

Tank looks stable........ Almost certainly a parasite. Doesn't really matter which kind right now. Treat with salt only for the time being (a couple of weeks). Make sure to add back salt after each water change. Unless it's a serious parasite (unlikely) that will knock it out.
