Whats wrong with my ray?

Planty of WC, lights out to reduce stress, and get it eating. If its eating, it should recover, but may have scars...time will tell. Do you have a larger tank to put it in once it gets better?

I got to get some glassworms but it gobbled up the bloodworms I put in there lastnight and before I toke it , it ate a good sized nightcrawer. I really dont mind about scar as ling as its living healthy and happy. It seems to like the space the 55 has compared to the 20 long it was in. im setting up my 210 for it and my 8" midevil thats its tankmate.

They been fine so far. The mudevil only bothers other cichlids. I think she knows not to mess with the ray or she get stung. Even tho the ray is pretty timid it let transfer it to its 55 by hand cause I didnt want its barb to get stuck in the net.

Lmfao It wasnt hard I let the ray swim over my hand then I grabbed the tail and barb with a pair of cooking tongs I never used and just picked it up.

small update the past few days its been getting alot better. its been eating nightcrawlers and blood worms. its also been alot more active . the scars are healing slowly.
