Hi there, im not an xpert on tanks, plants or fish but i have the same problem as you. i have brown algae on my leaves. (several different plants) From the research i have done, most say it's because of the new tank. And just to leave it as it'll sort itself out once the tanks cycled properly. ... and we're talking 6 months?? hmmm. anyway, i'm gonna leave it and see what comes about.

1st pic you can see a brown mark on thew leaf
2nd pic you can see a hole in the leaf and the plant next to it has rusty spots on the leaves, although this is a cold water plant i pulled from my pond that is loving it in the warm water.
3rd pic i'm pretty sure its brown algae.
