I JUST GET 2 NTT, AND JUST 2 DAYS ALL DAID ( TEMP AND WATER IS AL GOOD)
LOOKS THE MOUTH OPEN A LOT, MIGHT SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT.
ANY ONE CAN HELP, TELL ME WAY?????

Difficult to say without photo. Also what are your water parameters? What are tank mates? Sorry to hear though. Any signs of rapid breathing before they died?
 
Sounds like gill parasites,act fast.
 
the ph is 6.8, temp is 80, i put them into the tank after i did everything, looks
Mouth can not be healed​
 
I have the same problem with a NTT I bought about 5 days ago. He has his mouth open all the time and gasping for air and suddenly staying in the corner. He hasn't eaten yet either.

I have anti-bacterial fish medication and it says it treats Bacterial Gill Disease. Should I go ahead and use it in a hospital tank?
 
After 4 hours in a hospital tank my 5" NTT past away. What a bad first experience. Just wondering why I've seen so many threads in the last 2-3 weeks with so many of the identical cases? Are they all from the same shipment or source?
