Wow is that baby plated yours? Good job, not something you often see being bred. For me turtles, defenetly.

He will be mine as of around 8 pm tonight. a friend of mine breeds them.

He is the only person known to have captive bred this species and have the babies survive. After all, incubation is over 7 months!

I tend to collect turtles, but that's more a result of me taking pity on the turtle and/or the person who had it before/found it.

Now as for herps that I really want to collect, I'd have to go with large constrictors, hots, and crocodilians. The one pet store near me has baby American alligators which are very tempting, but I know better...
