What's your bad luck fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Caquetaia spectabilis for me. I bought three of them a while back and they all died of the same fungus, one by one. None of them responded to meds either. I also had a 10" female jaguar die because it could stand up to anything, it got bullied to death (to put it lightly).

loaches and jaguars

Haitensis. (Latest one died :() I have killed 15++ haitensis...The ONLY fish I have ever had a problem with...

I'm having a bad time with guppies at the mo, My plan was to breed them for feeders but i've gone through about 15 in the last few weeks. They have there own tank that i've used to grow out fish in, Its been running around a year fully cycled just doesn't make any sense. I've sourced them from different fish stores all to no avail. Maybe its time to move onto molly's. lol.

Maybe, but that shouldn't be the issue with me as I am a 20 ppm nitrate freak. When it hits 20 ppm, I do a water change.

Mine is also the Texas Cichlid, I have only had babys and they only last a month tops [same with clown loach].

20ppm :WHOA: my tap water is 50 - 75, that is with tablet tests and liquid tests :WHOA::WHOA::WHOA:

I lost my first batch of haits... soooo aggressive that they stress each other out. 2nd batch, I had all of them live to 3"+, then had them naturally cut down on their numbers.

And yeah, I can't seem to keep clown loaches alive for more than a week :/
