What's your best excuse for getting pulled over?

What's your guyes best excuse for when you get pulled over mine is : Well officer, I saw you behind me so I thought ill put my .22 under my seat. So I tried to grab it and my foot pushed on the gas and ran the red light!

The truth will set you free. Ever notice how cops will ask you if you know why they pulled you over? Don't lie and make up some bs excuse, just tell the truth and imo, 8 out of 10 times they will let you go with a warning.

I have a good one that works almost every time but I don't want to jinx things by mentioning it here.
 
All I'll say is that it pertains to my work...So why do the cops ask why a driver is pulled over rather than just get to the point of what was done wrong?
 
One time I used AC/DC as an excuse ... the cop pulled me over so I told him the truth ... "nice sunny day, AC/DC came on the radio ... started singing and remembering the concert a couple months previous, almost empty highway and now here we are" ... he gave me a warning ... this was after I came roaring up beside him (145 km/h down to 110km/h) and when he didn't use his lights after a couple minutes, I sped up singled and passed him. So I was very lucky to get just a warning. But at least he waited until the song had ended before he pulled me over.
 
I knew the answer lol. I was just being sarcastic. Cops ask because they want you to lie. It's not often people will speed and not know they are speeding so when you answer, "I don't know", you're probably not being truthful. It's a power thing.

I was being pulled over an once the officer took my license back to his car I called in a robbery at a fast food joint I just passed right before...he ran back to my car handed me my license an said your lucky Wendy is being robbed an get your tickets taken care of...I would have lost my car an license I had tickets and no insurance smh...lol

Not mine but a friend's.... but I'll play. He gets pulled over doing 55 mph in a 35 mph school zone. When in front of the judge, " How do you plead."
"Not guilty."
"Explain!"
"I was on medication."
"Medication?! I ought to throw the book at you. That's a DWI! But, for the record, what were you taking?"
He sets an Exlax bottle on the bench....... case dismissed.
