What's your best excuse for getting pulled over?

This one is the truth got pulled over. Told the cop I had some bad food at Chilli's and I have to get to a bathroom quick (while holding my stomach) he said good luck and try not to paint the walls. I didn't get a a ticket but it was a bad night none the less.

It could only refer to you saying cops are never to be trusted lol

Thats my guess. I never said that or anything like that though. Just that they are not to be trusted, which is the truth. Never volunteer evidence or testimony.

Friend got pulled over doing 100mph in a 65. Cop comes up yelling saying that he's been waiting all day for someone like him. Friend says well I got here as fast as I could. Cop doesn't know what to say then laughs and tells him to slow down and go home.

Back when I was fifth teen I went to Florida to visit my dad. At the time my uncle had a 750 Yamaha ATV. So I asked if I could ride it. There was ATV trail behind some houses down the street not knowing it was private property I went back there. As I was coming out the trail going back to the house I blow there a stop sign(its back streets with very little traffic) little did I know the cop was waiting for me around the corner behind some bushes.when I stopped he asked for my license and registration and I told I don't have one. He asked who's bike it was I said my uncle's then said me and my dad was fixing it for him and my dad needed someone to test it cause he couldn't. Got out of a ticket and jail time but had to push the ATV about two miles back to my house.

Really though i always give em the derp act, "oh im so sorry officer i thought that was still the speed limit" and it tends to work. Never had a real ticket.

Unfortunately that's never applied to me ... the few times I've picked up a ticket, I've usually been travelling faster than the highways limits. A couple weeks ago I got pinched entering a city limits. The highway is 110 km/h, the stretch entering town 80 km/h ... I was clocked at 125 km/h (I was decelerating) it had been posted 80 km/h for a ways already. When he asked where I was going ... my answer was "The washroom, but that's not an excuse" then asked if I could get out of the truck and stretch and have a smoke ... and we chatted (my wife and kids were in the truck). Now the guy pulled over behind me (major speed trap was set up) showed a touch of attitude and then received a much heated lecture. When my cop finally returned with my ticket instead of $300+ I got a $78 dollar ticket for 10 km/h over ... don't think the guy behind me was so lucky.
As for F1 Vet's driving record ... mines similar but I've got Dangerous Driving on mine ... although I've been a pretty good boy for over 10 yrs now. And yes the insurance sucks, but c'est la vie.

That's why I asked permission before I went. If he said no I would have crapped my pants right there. I couldn't run away if I tried. LOL

i bet if anyone on this thread tried this right now, they'd be shot instantly. no way you can jump out of a car during a traffic stop with something in your hand and start running ANY direction regardless of your intent. 75 percent of the time i get pulled over i see the cop with his hand on his holster as he walks up.

Truth..
They don't know when your bs -ing
Unless you give them a reason to,
I've noticed it's better to tell the truth then to say it was an emergency
I honestly don't remember how fast I was going, yes irresponsible..
Long story short 2 cops where behind me out of nowhere when they came up to the driver and passenger side they didn't ask me if I knew why they pulled me over he cut down to the chase, " the reason I pulled you over wasnt for speeding,
You were hauling ass". "
They didint give me a ticket for telling thdm the truth, turns out identical explorer was stolen. But what I hadn't mention was the reason why I was hauling ass (irresponsible I know)
Is because I had just raced a BMW and he didn't make it turned red on him but my mistake was pride when I should've let go of the pedal once I passed the yellow light..true story

I just got pulled over for the first time in my life on Tuesday on my way to Kiddo's house. It was the scariest thing ever!! ...Esp since I have been driving for over a year with two obnoxious cracks right through my line of sight in the windshield. He patted me on the head and told me to go about my merry way with a warning.....but still....I didn't even do anything wrong and I was shaking so bad I could hardly hand him my info....I can't even imagine how some of you guys lived through your encounters!

(I'm such a badass, I know... hahaha)

Id hate to see your insurance bill. Yikes!

Most of this was 2 to 8 years back in my younger days when I drove karts.

We had by far the largest street racing meet in the state. I just like to go fast. Prom night I hit 160ish mph. Pops has a v12 twin Turbo Mercedes could have topped it at 190 but I saw my life flash before my eyes, speeds exceeding 100mph you need to constantly be scanning at least 3/4 of a mile down the road AND ALWAYS remember the shoulder is there as a last resort, at those speeds brake fade can occur obviously not in a merc or similar car.

Here's a me over the weekend doing a 5-130mph pull in a camaro (dyno tuned to 400+hp to the rear wheels)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdg69b4nYSc&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Short 50-100mph pull in a mr2 Turbo rebuilt everythinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQBEc_kLDVI&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Keep in mind driving of this nature can incur penalties including jail time/tickets and or injury/death.
