been watching this thread and just have add Ive in apartments where the hydros included because i've had bills over $200.00 before so i said the heck with it now i cant get enough breaker bars and i worry about something shorting out all the time .

I rent...I don't pay electric or water...so I think I'll get a 10 million gallon tank and a whale shark...How do you like that landlord? HAHAHA!

mine is about $80 in the winter and almost $200 in the summer. it takes alot of energy to keep a house cool when the emp is 110+. luckily my heat is gas, my tanks raised the bill only about $10 or so. i live in a very new , well insulated home. some people in vegas pay as much as $300-$400 in the summer(older homes). been there done that...
