Quarantine Tank
To better help and inform one another... :)

Please list what your daily checklist is for your tank(s)?

Everyday I tend to check...

1. if all my heaters are working
2. any fin nips due to increased aggression
3. any odd fish behaviors
4. temperature
5. if everybody is eating

Please feel free to add anything else that you think should be checked daily... :D

Temperature is spot on .. If the fish are all alive and well, the Lids are all secure and no splashes from last night ( not a good sign), if everybodys eating, the tank smells sweet and algae on glass. Thats about it..

every morning (while im at my dads)

check everyone out to make sure theyre A-ok

check temp

check sump water level

make sure powerhead and air line are as they should be

during feeding- make sure everyone is at least interested in food and target feed those who are unfortunate in getting there share :)

afterward:

check for uneaten food, remove if there is any, check the prefilter for peices of pellet that the fish missed

before bed:

turn off tank light:

make sure both lids and rocks are on securely

say good night to the fishes :D

haha all aro keepers have the lid is secure on their checklist. I need a dumbell plate to hold down my lid btw.

1. wake up
2. fart
3. laugh at girlfriend's reaction
4. check school lesson plans
5. check tanks for leftover food/dead fish (none so far in these tanks) and if any are on floor
6. check specific fish such as new peacock cichlid and new pike cichlid
7. turn on 50 gal. tank's light, and leave off the 125's
my 125 gal. tank has metal halides so I only have them on from 4pm to 11pm.
8. 4pm. feed flakes to cichlids and rake out dead leaves from 125 gal.
9. 9pm defrost krill, blood worms, or beef liver.
10. feed fish

I do all the thing metioned above but I have a time on my lights.

I keep it random. Very random.
