fish are alive...

temp....

ammonia level, no sudden spike ....

filter is not gloged, and working...

glass is not cracked ...

alertness of the fish , behavior....

body condition,damage from late night fight.......

feed them , though not every day do I feed my fish ..6 -times a week. and remove uneaten food .....

Lid on tank is in place .......

Sit there like this for an hour

i'm like rallysman have no set schedule whats so ever I have had good luck with this method after a while i seem to know when to check things prevents mistakes this way and my water changes are 1 week nay 9 days nope tommorrow lol
