I know right? Who would want to keep something like that? Seems crazy to me.....might as well have a snake you can hold and one that won't kill you.

Seems crazy to me why anyone would want to hold Reptiles to begin with........Isn't that what they breed Hamsters for?

Makes about about enough sense to me as trying to handle Fish, but thats just me.......

Lots of people like to handle their snakes and lizards, what is wrong with that? Just because you don't want to does not mean that it is wrong.

Hopefully the attatchment worked....

This is my big boy, Rasp. he's the oldest of all my pets at about 8 years old.
He's a bearded dragon, and at 24" long, he's still the biggest one I've seen.

Throughout his life, rasp has eaten (or tried to eat) quite a few strange things, including a 6" goldfish that lived in the bottom of his old habitat, as well as a large green frog that I also attepted to keep in the lower part of his habitat.
While sharing his old hab with a red eared slider, he somehow adopted a taste for rosy reds:screwy:.

But now he enjoys a lavish life in a bigger tank all his own, with a more more closely monitored diet;).

And where in any of that did I say it was wrong?

Normally, I like the oddballs. I prefer to have fish/dogs/lizards/whatever that no one's ever heard of. But for some reason, snakes are the opposite. My favorite reptiles are definitely ball pythons and redtail boas, and they're pretty much the most commonplace snakes in the trade aside from corns. That being said, I also really really like oxy-jansen ratsnake hybrids and Vietnamese blue beauties, and they aren't exactly what I'd call well-known XD

I'd talk about the first two, but everyone knows them, and I'd talk about the last two, but I don't really know much.

Vietnamese shown first, then oxy-jansen.

i want the oxy-jansen:drool::headbang2

Anything in the Blood Python/Short-tail Python complex are just way too cool and so variable.

And I love my Aldabra. It is like having a grumpy old man living in the yard. Full of personality and always breaking something.
