there arent really many (if any) true punk bands around nowadays. there wernt many back in the day. depends on your meaning on punk. i mean the who were R&B, look how much the definition of that has changed.
name some rap artists and ill tell you if they are good or not. rap is a preference to a different genre of music. you cant rule them all out, they might be someones favourite band......

Ramones opened for voodoo glow skulls a long time ago at the Troubador in hollywood, I moshed with the ramones, it was awesome.
I agree, RAP is annoying. All rappers only rap to get $. No offense, at a rap concert, THEY ALL LOOK LIKE IDIOTS SPITTING OUT NONSENSE.
