I like mine bloody but warm. Ive eaten straight seasoned raw ribeye before but prefer it to be at least warmed through. I won't eat anything that's not bleeding on the plate.

Never tried rare but I've tried medium rare. Medium is my favorite. I love marinated elk tenderloin in herbs, brown sugar and ghost pepper sauce fried over the stove but it usually ends up medium well. Speaking of elk steak, i think I need to start thawing some out right now.
