Whats Your Favorite Gar?

picked spotteds =) just something about all those spots and My florida's been such a wonderful fish.. take his size more or less and mix it w/ a few more spots and abit of coloration.. perfect gar imo =) Trop is a close second.

All of the lakes in michigan centers string of lakes have long nose gar. As well as many other lakes near jackson.

Wow! Everyone seems to like the Alligator gar. I like them but I like fish more that you can actually house in a fish tank, I really want a tropical gar like I stated before in this thread....to bad no room in the tanks anymore,LOL

I have 2 floridas and I've never had any other gar, but gar is gar. I like all of them, but I voted for the florida, since that's what I have.

I cannot house any in my tanks, so size doesn't matter to me since I will only be seeing juvis at LFS.

Alligator gars are by far my favorite. Gotta love the crocodile face!
