Ok ,whats everyones favorite freshwater live bait to use. Mine is a crawfish or called crawdaddy. Its caught me some huge sm. and largemouth bass , trout and catfish .

How do you bait a crayfish? Is it anything like using shrimp?

I don't use live bait often, but when I do, shiners. Most preds attack them.

i use worms and leaches for bass. sometimes crayfish. i use burkley GULP instead most of the time. that stuff is the best. i caught my pike on a plastic something, i cant remember, but it looked liker a great big, silver minnow.

Earthworms cover most fish then a roach for pike but I use a lot of dead baits for pike my favourite would be Mackerel.

anyone ever try live frogs, you can either hook them through the lips, or rubber band their waste and run a hook through that, usually catch above avg.LMB and Strippers(rockfish)

It's pretty damn hard to beat a good old yard worm.

Sure, shiners will catch bass, but not everything else... like a worm will.
