WHATS YOUR FAVORITE LIVE BAIT

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
all depends what ur fishing for. around here u cant get a pike to hardly take a shiner cause its not worth the effort but u stick a big ol creek chub on there and its pike fishing time. shiners are great for crappy and perch and even trout all though i do better with powerbait for trout . earthworms for bluegill and catfish and also a earthworm on a willow leaf is great for walleye. thats the way i use my bait . :)

How do you bait a crayfish? Is it anything like using shrimp?

well hook it throught there tail..... they will stay alive that way....

we had a crwadad on the line for 5 hours and it still lasted:headbang2

Mackeral, Herring, and eels for stripers and blues..

Crawdads (hook thru the tail), Frogs (thru the knee not lips), Shiners (just under the dorsal), for my LMB and other gamefish.

crush them (step on 'em) and thread the gooey mess on ur hook for large channel cats. or just hook it through the tail for anything else.

I don't use live bait often, but when I do, shiners. Most preds attack them.

ditto
