I tried to get some shiners in my minnow trap this week. Got no shiners but trap 11 crawfish. Looks like instead of L.M.Bass fishing , we are going S.M.Bass fishing . Its works with me. Happy fishing
For me live crawfish, chubs, and bluegill. My top 5 LMB have all come on bluegill in the 6" range. Big flatheads love bluegill as well. A 5/0 circle hook just before or just after the dorsal fin does the trick.

doesnt have the scent though. i like crawdads, shad, and bluegill.
