What's your favorite restaurants?

I like Carrabas but its a good drive so we mostly go to my wife's favorite when we go out.She loves Olive Garden.
 
I stick to private, mom and pop type eateries. I find the food to be much better as it 's not. "Commercially" produced. It 's made to order. I'd rather pay a little more for quality.

Best places to eat are the little mom and pop places. If you live in a city that has it's own area where one ethcity lives go to those places. I don't like the chain places food is just bland and nasty.
 
I have areas around me that have different cultures. The town I live in is mostly Italian, so I can get great Italian food from the assortment of restaurants. One neighboring town is a Spanish neighborhood so I can get Spanish food from the little Bodega's and mom and pop eateries. And then the other neighborhood near me is predominately black and they have a couple of great soul food/southern style places.
 
Its horrible but im addicted to kroger food. Especially when I work at a high class restaurant.
