My fav is the Jack Dempsey.I've had two and I aways liked their colors.They would always greet me as I walked by the tank.JD rock!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Jags, I've had 1 2 years ago and was definately worth it. I'm planning on keeping one again very soon in my new 90G

Of the easy to find fish I'll say midas or dempsey. Out of the less common I'll say V. argentea,Amph. rhytisma,chauco intermedium,chauco godmanni are great also. Out of the little less common there are paraneetroplus gibbaceps, theraps lentigennosium,theraps irregulare, tomocichla seiboldi(really vicious). Out of the darn near impossible I'll say Amph. bussingi, paraneetoplus bullerri

Out of those fish I would have to choose the Firemouth as my favorite, with the Oscar at a close second. That's why I own both of them .
