well after the fifth hundred(unsuccessful) photo shoot with the gars, i've about had it with lazy, uncooperative, ganoid scaled fish (gars and polys
). honestly, i get better shots of the tank decor!
i've decided to get a few more fish that will be more interesting to photograph, as i'm pretty interested in getting serious about aquatic photography.
hence this thread, as i'm looking for ideas on what fish to get next that will be a joy to photograph. do post the fish you have most fun photographing, and why...
asides from growing out my current arfo(which is a joy), and keeping one(or a few) or my baby dats, i am considering: asian arrow(highback rtg), ray(worried about bioload) or nile perch.
so, here're the fish i've had most fun photographing;
african aro, just cause they're so fun.*(super active, always interacting with the its environment)
followed by pbass, which give imo the best pics with little or no effort.*(amazing colours, shoaling, needless to say, feeding time
)
also a lucky shot of my cuban. seriously thou, they're no fun to take pics of at all...
please keep your posting to ONE pic per species of fish, to avoid having many repeated similiar shots
