Whats your fish related New Years Resolution?

To get a better handle on how not to get water all over the place when doing maintenance and not waste so much water doing vacuuming. Those python/aquen water changers that connect to sink although effective are useless since you end up taking as much or more water just to remove water. Going to look into an easy drip water change system that does not require a Phd in plumbing rocket science.

Run the end of the python out a door or window if you can via siphon. Takes no additional water. Then hook it up to the sink and fill. I have two separate hoses for this.

My fish resolution would be to downgrade and sell almost all of my tanks. My 240 needs redecorated, but I am not sure how, since my biggest inhabitants are my bichirs. So maybe it will consist of just finding new top dwellers- or switch out the ones I have with others I have.

I would like to sell all of my fish, and get down to 4 tanks. The 240, 180, 150, and 72 bowfront. Then all my breeder tanks will be used to grow aquarium/pond plants. I however have 40+ empty fishtanks, and 23 currently running.

I would like to move my 30 gallon planted to my 72 bowfront, and finish my stocking on that. That means I can move my flowerhorns tank upstairs and get him looking healthier. He apparently doesn't like being kept in the fish room.

I would like to get my outdoor pond done for the koi, as well as get the turtle ponds (yes multiples) done. Which means, the indoor koi tank can be removed (Finally!). I would then like to get my newly founded turtle rescue finally up and running fool speed.

And on that note: I'm going to be posting a for sale thread in the marketplace. :)

Don't know how I missed this thread but I aim to cut down on fish buying and finally set up my 265 gallon tank and get my fishroom photo worthy.
