Think of something a little out of the ordinary you've paused while doing and thought, "What would a non-aquarist think of this?". Or simply state what you would like to be known for in the aquatic realm. Mine would probably be:

"Silly Aquarist caught in neighbor's backyard seeding neighbor's old buckets of water with daphnia and other small invertebrates. 'I'm going to feed them to my catfish when they grow larger in number' says aquarist."

Or if you're just not that sneaky and have a squeaky-clean image to uphold, perhaps something along the lines of "Silly Aquarist caught spending inordinate amounts of time going store to store in search of rare specimens.", something like that.

So, what's your legacy?

Silly Aquarist caught driving down Interstate 480 with a large wooden aquarium stand tied to the roof of his car. The back of the '97 Ford Taurus Station Wagon was filled with a heavy 150 gallon aquarium, several filters, buckets and bags of sand. The aquarist had what appeared to be a jacket wrapped around his bleeding hand and was smoking heavily. When interviewed for comment, the aquarist only grumbled "my 'bleepin' truck is at the dealer!"

I can't believe I am the only one who did something "news worthly" lol. There has to be some other keepers out there doing something out of the ordinary?

Silly Aquarist Caught supporting the end of a 90 gallon aquarium as it hung out of the trunk of a movie compact car traveling down the mainroad of a rural township. Local police were belligerent/slightly drunk at time.

This has actually happened to me...

"Silly aquarist caught crossing state borders with suspicious bin. Suspected of contraband, searched the vehicle. Found several two foot long gars swimming in a plastic tub. Silly aquarist assured me they are legal and was explicit that a cuban gar is not illegal like a cuban cigar. Released stupid kid back into New York."

lol, these are good. In my case, I got a call saying the tank was ready and if I could come get it now (since they were moving the next day lol). I have never worked so hard in my life as I did in those 6 hours :)

silly aquarist, carrying bags of feeders from one city to another, just 'cause the fish he keeps in the other city prefer live food over pellets.
