Also can people include how often they feed their knife fish because sometimes I feel like I am overfeeding and others I feel like I am underfeeding. I feed him every two to three days.

if he is still a baby i would feed him every day small amounts 2xs a day..once matured this 2-3 days would be fine..Catfish Keeper;3335124; said:

I feed my BGK blood worms, live black worms, live meal worms(chopped), sinking pellets, and tubifex.
Varied diet keeps them healthy & happy. Dainichi Ultima pellet along w/ live worms, crickets, frozen silversides & shrimp, freezedried krill & bloodworms. Once a day, every other day. "T"I just recently got a black ghost and have been wondering the same thing so this thread is helpful.
Mine pretty much started off by eating a guppy. For now he won't have the chance to eat another... I've been feeding him bloodworms, small frozen pieces of trout and then I gave him two annoying flies. He doesn't seem too fond of brine shrimp.
I've been feeding him rather randomly, like all the fish I own. I work shifts so my life's random as are my feeding times. I've been aiming for once a day on average. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
