Good thread! I don't feel like posting pics of mine as my cam is built into the laptop and takes photos reversed, like a mirror... but here, you'll get an idea....
To make it short, if it's on sale and cheap, I take it home, period. Foods for ANY animal, within reason. No birdseed, if that's what you mean!
But basically, in this jug is a mix of about 25 different foods (serious) including 5 to 10 types of Hikari pellets, 4 to 6 other types of fish pellets, axolotl pellets, 3 or 4 different types of turtle pellets, iguana pellets, box turtle pellets, dog food, cat food, 2 or 3 different goldfish pellet types, and... PetsMart was clearing out some big bags of .... GUESS? MYNAH BIRD PELLETS. Those got thrown in as well. (Good vegetable/fruit source)
So yeah, pretty much everything you can think of, is in here, and is all mixed up for the most varied diet imaginable.
Remember those old stew pots that would have a little bit of everything in it, depending on what had been eaten the previous week? Kinda like that
I also feed worms and live feeder goldfish. The goldfish are what my Gold Tulip Eels eat. I stopped giving them worms because they drive my SA lungs into a feeding frenzy, and one of the Tulip Eels lost the very tip of his tail... No more worms!
