What's your "odd couple" (inseparable/not breeders)

I had a 14" Jag become best friends with my leporinus which is about a foot long until the Jag died. They would hang out all the time, and when the cons in the tank bred the jag fought them back when they would try to mess with the leporinus.

This could be a very cool thread.

Here was my guianacara, and endli when I first got them. They were inseparable the first 2 months I had them. Until the endli got big enough to eat her, and I moved it out.

this is a good topic. I like..

And that's cool right there.. Nice picture of them.

My cuban and my pike cichlid are best buddies. They dug a hole together under a piece of wood and hang out there when not picking on my green terror.

I feel like I should get a pike of some sort because there are a few of you that have had odd couples with a pike. I would like something like an odd couple some day. I feel like it would be very entertaining.

My wolf pack of 4 sens and 2 dels

i have a 2 inch male JD and a 10inch rope that are best buds they always hide out together in a cave. the JD will fight off the cons while the rope eats or he doesn't really get anything.

I have a Blood parrot and a Kenyi cichlid, both males never had any fights between them. Sometimes I wondered if Kenyi cichlid thinks hes BP when hes flirting with two new BP.....

I am begining to think husbandry os similar sized fish is just in the pikes nature in the absence of the oposite sex. Not sure if that can be associated to protection or feeding benifits etc... Personally my pike is one of my top 3 favorite fish with loads of personality. Go for it if you can properly care for it. ;)
