Whats your ray stock?

Im surprised that there are so many WC rays, given that most people frown upon initially owning them.

Why is that? Is it because more WC are available than CB? Thoughts?

There really isn't any breeders of stingrays or even owners here in alberta so wildcaught is the easiest way to get them. I would say availability is our biggest problem for cb

I think the reason on why most peopl have wild is because when i first started .... i didnt know about mfk and breeders, so i bought it from an lfs im sure others were the same way.

no because people are cheap.... wild motoro 100$ cb motoro 150$ do the math.... that or people cry about getting one shipped in so go and spend a rediculous amount on a decrepid wild ray from LFS....

I would love to get you one.... HOWEVER I have been checking the mail everyday when I get home and that net hasn't shown up yet.... WTF man? You DID send it right?

I seriously have NO nets. I broke the last 2 I had when I moved the juvy rays out and TRIED to catch the Odoes.

I'd LOVE to buy captive bred Marbles.... In fact I hit up everybody that I knew of that was captive breeding them. But unless you want a filthy gene pool then you can only get one ray from a breeder..... Unless that breeder has means of making sure you do NOT get any relation, assuming of course they have more than one pair of breeders.

I have many WCs and will be the first to say spend the extra on captive bred.... saves you time, money, headaches, stress, blood pressure mediacation, relationships, the list goes on my friends.

There is alot of people who think they are saving money on wc but I think alot of people learn after a couple losses that it isn't the way to go.

I SAID money..... Yeah, blood pressure meds NOT for the rays but fore the guy keeping them. Relationships..... Yes. Most ladies don't understand. If yours DOES then you're slacking..... Go change more water.
