Just thought I would post a pic of one of my Flowerhorns. I no longer have this guy, since I decided to get out of the Flowerhorns and more into the pure bred species.

I paid 190 for him. Way too much money for a fish imo. I started back into the fish hobby on FHs, which was a bad idea since they are so expensive. I would honestly rather have a nice quality pure bred trimac instead. Trimacs are quite a bit cheaper, so that works out well on my wallet as well. That trimac in the first picture was $28, since it was a mid sized sexed male. Huge difference in price.

4 fathead minnow
4 tinfoil barb
4 upside down catfish (s. nigriventris)
2 black moor goldfish
I have 4 of everything except goldfish, and I have all cyprinids besides upside down catfish. PS I plan to get more upside down catfish AND minnows. Oh and hornwort of course....
...And a new tank of 150+ gallons. And stronger lighting for all my tanks. And I will add more tinfoil barbs to the 150+. Heck I might as well say I am going to set up a 500+ gallon marine pond for mullets and sergeant major damselfish. And then I would use my 72 for upside down catfish and congo tetras and maybe a african lionhead cichlid + 3 striped glass catfish...
