What's your well water like?

Who else has well water? Do you love it or hate it? What are the parameters?

I love my water!

550' deep well
pH 7.5 (I had stated 7.6 earlier but have since measured it with a more accurate test)

Nitrate <1mg/L

This is a photo of the well going in last year, prior to that we got our water from the neighbor's well.

Not sure how deep my well is as I just got the house but I did test it this weekend it was.

Ask your parents how deep it is, I'm curious. If my theory holds true it should be fairly shallow, less than 200' maybe.

That's too bad about the high nitrates in your well, it must make it hard to manage nitrates in your tank(s).

Apparently its around a couple hundred feet...

But yeah, it's a huge annoyance. I have to use RO/DI water whenever doing water changes, which means supplementing minerals back into the water after.

I also have about 8.0 pH out of the tap...
