African Arowana(which happens to be my favourite fish). Just wouldn't eat for a week no matter what i gave it. Came home one day after school to find it floating at the top. Cost me $28.

A common pleco at 12"

He's a **** machine. I'm talking 4-5' **** streamers all over the tank and usually a nice big one he drags around with him.

It was about 3-4" long. No ****. Before i bought it i asked around and read up on keeping one and the generalization is that they are hard to keep. Especially anything <8". But i had the confidence so i bought it anyway.

* Black Labeo Shark (love/hate)
At less then 2 inches this diminutive runt had my school of 2' Koi going crazy for days - plucking scales off left and right! Impossible to catch with a koi net - swam thru holes. Soon enough it got its own pond - switched the gars into the Koi pond.
The Labeo grew over a foot eating whatever fell out of the trees in about 9 months(400gal)

Congo Tetras/Brycinus Tetra/Jewel Cichlids....I wanted tetra didn't think my ~2.5" Endli At the time would eat a 2" Congo :screwy: Brycinus Tetra passed through the divider and Jewel Cichlids slowly killed 3 tetras
