what's your worst purchase

Alligator gars and my FX5.

The gars were bought for 10$ each at 3" and when they hit almost 2' I could not let them go for free. I took me about a year to get rid of them. They are boring and ugly fish that are not good pets IMO I learned a lot from them. Like dont rush into things lol

FX5 is the most expensive power head I own. What a worthless hunk of cheap plastic with a few crap quality screws.

About 10 years ago, bought a RTC.... Had him in a pond for years but then the cold got him one year.

in my 1st tank which was a 29g i bought 2 monos as the shop said they were freshwater fish . needles to say they didnt fare very well

My worst purchase were 2 male and 4 female Pseudotropheus pulican AKA kingsizei, beautiful fish, to bad the dominant male killed 3 of the females and the 2 yellow labs i had with them so i gave him to the petshop only to have the other male kill the las female i got rid of him and started a new tank.

Due to thatexperiance i swore never to keep Mbuna again.

A pair of angels.Put them in my racking next to a tank with a breeding group of acei in it.All my male angel seemed to want to do was jump in the next tank.After numorous times finding him in the next tank i put a cover over the divide.They was still i little gap though.Needless to say he found it and i found him to late.He had been savaged.One damn stupid fish
