what's your worst purchase

My first fish purchase, I bought a baby gar. They told me it was an alligator gar so I bought him for 46 dollars, ended up a couple weeks later looking like a florida. It's ok I still love him just as much. Very beautiful fish now too.

I'd have to say my first purchase. About 7 or 8 years old, dropping all of my birthday and Christmas money to put about 20 fish in a 10 gal. Didn't turn out so well.

My First Fish? a 4inch Wolf fish that was put in a 20 gal tank i got the same day moved to 50 gal after hit 6inch mark. now is 9inch suffering form some kind of Bacterial infection i hope he makes it :'(

My worst buy would have to be the 35 2" angel fish i ordered online for $100. Got them in and started the acclimate process for all of them to die and then the saler wouldnt answer my calls.

Worst 3 fish buy ever

1-bought a amazing 18" HBRTG ( that was almost a XB ) From a guy who lived in Edmonton ( in January of this year ) turns out the guy only put 1 heatpack and did not properly closed the bags. :banhim:
when i got the fish he was on is back, alive just enough to die on me and unleash lots of bad luck.

2- got 12 golden clam online in the month of july :screwy: they got lost somewhere for about a week. I dont know why i even opened the damn box :hitting: the smell is still in my nose and that was 3 years ago

3- 18 very pricy Koi i figured they would be very happy in my 200000g pond in the country .
They seemed so happy every day they came to greet me when i brought them food till one week end they had all vanished  then my neighbor told me he saw a long legged bird flying over for a couple days.
Case closed

Long ago when I was still learning about fish keeping, I bought 2 pacus and an oscar for my 45gal hex!!!

Happy ending was that nobody died, just returned them once they outgrew the tank.

Same thing for me except it was three oscars and a 10g. I also bought 4 mixed Mbuna cichlids for the same 10g. I dont listen to the advice at walmart anymore.

My worst would be 2 EBJD they were great for a couple days befor the first one died then the other one followed the next week. Sickly little buggers.

havent been in the hobby that long, but deffinately three dragon gobies. i was on my way to pick up my new 125gal so i didnt have much time, i didnt do the research and never saw them before. i had my wife buy them because they looked awesome and i loved their teeth! i dont know how i kept them alive for three months they never ate and i never saw any poop or them for that matter. they suck lol
