Okay, so I don't exactly have monster fish, but I'm dreading the day my common pleco decides to kick the bucket. He's 8 years old, so he's fairly large. And healthy too, but I'm just curious. What the heck do you guys do with your big suckers when they pass away? Obviously, the flush is not an option...

toss them in the worm farm...

though some of the big guys.. and even some of the lil guys end up in the freezer for months on end...

I've buried a few and put a few in the garbage depends on the weather in South Dakota. If its hot out and a couple days before your garbage pickup, do the garbage man a favor and freeze your fish in a ziplock bag until the day your garbage is picked up.

Depending on your appetite, you could bake/grill/toast/broil/barbecue it.

actually he couldent. theres a reason why on dechlorinators and other fish-related meds it says "not for use on fish meant for human consumption"

Same, Either bury (great for the garden) or if the grounds frozen they go in the trash. I don't worry about the freezer cause if the grounds frozen my trash can is too.
