When can I ID my serrasalmus

Where did you order him from? To be fair, S.sanchezi and S.rhom are hard to ID at smaller sizes.

I ordered him from exoticfishshop.net via ebay. True, it's about the 3-4 inch where I noticed the difference visually and costly lol. I'm guessing he should be fine in the 75 for life right?
 
Here's a clearer picture of this little guy today.
Do their eyes get fully red as well or just a tint?

75 is MORE than enough for that species. You can get away safely with a 40.

Yes a 75 is good for life. My sanchezi just passed away this morning from old age I assume. He was 20 years old had him since he was the size of a quarter in a 90 gallon tall tank for his whole life he grew to be 8 inches long. He hasn't been eating for over a month I tried even live food and no feeding response, he passed away this morning enjoy yours they are awesome fish with a great personality
