When do you add dechlor during WC using Python?

I use the bucket method. Wouldnt it suck if I had a thousand gallon tank that need 50% water changes every week? My bucket only holds 2.5 Gallons.
. I add prime enough for my whole tank before I put the water in.
I use Prime and put it in just as I start refilling.I have all the filters off while I am filling the tank and for 20 Minutes after it is full so no chlorine can get to the bio-media and possibly kill off BB.I do keep a power head running for circulation however.If you are putting prime directly into the tank you have to dose for the whole tank volume and not just the amount you are changing.
I use a 46litre plastic trash can put in enough prime/dechlor to treat the bucket then siphon the water through one of my canister filters. Water changes on my tank are a #&$#!! If I don't have someone around to help I bust my ^$! trying to refill the tank.
it depends on if i remember or not, if i am paying attention during refill then i add while i am filling up. if i am working on the other tank while the one is filling up then i add it at the end.
Wow, the poll is really diversed. I guess it doesn't really make a difference when you add the dechlor.
Maybe the right way, if there is one, reflects in the long run, which we don't know.
I add the dechlor after the water is filled myself because I think there might be a chance that some of the water that's being added after won't get dechlorined.
