Poor fish--they have no life!

Wow! I'm not being judgemental. I've just learned something new. I did not know this was possible. I'd like a scientific explanation.

Couldn't there at least beaq few decorations in there? It's like walking around an empty house all my life... :(

I LIKE IT SOMETHING NEW. IM PRETTY SURE THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE FROM SOMEONE ON THIS SITE

is that a clown knife in the first pic?

Fish huddled in a corner don't look too happy. Or that might just be my interpretation of happy fish.

I also think irresponsibility in fishkeeping should in no way be commend or given a "wow" factor as it only promotes more of it.

I don't condone "experiments" as some call them like this. There is expert scientific data out there on subjects like this for you to read if you are interested. Don't do your own "hands on experiments" without knowing exactly to what extent you are damaging the creatures you have chosen to confine in conditions not conducive to healthy development.

Fish need a natural environment with decor to swim around & hide in. IMO this is animal abuse.

I agree, but experimentation is what has allowed man to become the progressive creature that he is. if it were not for experimentation, this hobby that we enjoy so much, would not exist. we don't know the extent of the scientific knowledge of person who posted this thread. he might be playing a game of trial and error but he might be using some crude form of science, also. who really knows? you can't make assumptions. i hear what you're saying and i would never support the abuse of animals, but i just don't like to always play the roll of judge and jury without all of the facts. you're right. he's defintitely defying nature and that might just be a cruel act, in itself. :)

No don't get me wrong phillydog, I am all for scientific experimentation and development of all the sciences. But where my problem lies is, if I may quote you, "but he might be using some crude form of science". Why use a "crude" form of science when there is already in depth studies, research and data to back up a meaningless self indulgent game of "trial and error" when the error has already been proven by experts?

Humane experiments for scientific advance-YES
Meaningless, unnecessary cruelity at another living thing's expensive-I say NAY.
