It is not "progress" to let fish swim aimlessly, without territories or anything in their lives to investigate of feel safe to retreat into.

But where my problem lies is, if I may quote you, "but he might be using some crude form of science". Why use a "crude" form of science when there is already in depth studies, research and data to back up a meaningless self indulgent game of "trial and error" when the error has already been proven by experts?
Humane experiments for scientific advance-YES
Meaningless, unnecessary cruelity at another living thing's expensive-I say NAY.
Pufferpunk, my comments were not directed at you but merely a generalization on flaming.Pufferpunk;3649128;3649128 said:I gave reasons. Fish are living beings, not just a collection of bodies crammed in a tank.

I just traded my Bumble Bee Grouper in I should have converted him to fresh!!!I dont see nothing wrong with it It is funny however to see how emotional people get over someone elses fish. If I can buy fish for me to eat and buy feeders for my fish to eat why would I feel sorry for fish this guy put in freshwater it is a natural thing that happens in the wild he just did it in the aquarium I think its cool. I wanna try it
Excellent--very well put!The aim of this site is the betterment of the fishkeeping hobby through knowledge and experience and not to promote unnecessary, ill-informed frivolity at the expense of living creatures.
