along with that theres gonna be a 20 gallon fry tank.


100 gallon cichlid tank, 6 foot long by 24 inch wide by 28 inch tall:
6 male cons
2 dempseys
6 firemouths
1 or 2 oscars
4 sengel bichir
16 tiger barbs as dithers
2 snooks
2 male pink cons
1 jag or maybe a texas dunno yet tho.

and if any mates i will have a 50 gallon fry tank..

1700 gallon indoor pond: will make in a few years.
1 TSN
4 oscars
3 red devils
3 texas
4 pairs of cons
4 hextic sting rays
2 silver arrows
and thats all i can think of now

What a bolded I think you should get rid of... More than 2 silver arows IMO.

Or you could go john style and make a tank thingo like his, and go silver arows and discus.

While I agree with Japes that the stock list looks heavy, a 100 gallon can is certainly not overstocked with and Oscar and a JD.

2 Dempseys and an Oscar would be as much as I would put in it. Personally I think even thats over stocked, even by regular MFK standards ROFL it's close.

To each their own. For me, overstocked is when aggression is a problem or when I can't keep up with the maintenance so that my nitrates stay below 20 ppm. If that means large water changes every 3 days and I am willing and able to do it, then I am not overstocked. Sorry to derail. To the topic, I hope you find satisfaction in what you have now and enjoy them CB. It good to dream, but make sure you have a plan too.

The 100G (Well who knows, as dmopar74 pointed out it's 210G anyway) is overstocked just with the Dempsey's and an Oscar. The magical 1700Gal indoor pond (how can you work that out now?) will never happen anyway so I'm not going to comment on the stocking of that.

What you really need to consider doing is setting up tiered tank stands and keeping single species/pairs in smaller tanks and keeping them separate. Regardless. I think this thread is an unresearched joke, you don't need to post your ridiculous unrealistic daydreams on the forums for criticism. There's a lot of things you're going to need to deal with and it's going to take more than a few years to get everything sorted out and setups like this up and running.

You need to get your priorities straight if anything, and even if you think keeping fish is at the top of that list (Job? Driver's License? You're 18 right?) you need to prioritize self driven research over feedback on unthoughtout lists on an internet forum.

That's just my take on this whole thread anyway.

CB as noted before its good to dream when i was younger maybe 7-8 I used to have a 10 gal and i was like Im going to have 1000 Gal ponds and tanks and now i just look and lough on what i thought. Thats was because my dad was doing the WC. i find it difficult to keep up with a 30 gal ( 2 50 pound Buckets a WC ) with 1 fish in it. High school is so much work :/. And im getting a 180 soon so im going to have to step my game up and i think you should too.

Worrry about what you have now and go from their.

Note : Im not trying to crush your dreams or anything but it would be cool to think of it realistically.
