When is opener?

Hey guys, I've got the itch pretty bad this year. Just wondering when opener is for you, and where you are, and what you plan to fish for.

Opener in MN is usually the 2nd weekend in May, I don't actually know the date... maybe the 12th? A couple of friends of mine have a cabin in SD on Big Stone Lake, and Opener there is on the 28th of April. There also happens to be a walleye tourney that day, so maybe we'll enter. I just can't wait to get on the damn water!

Opener for what? Over here its the end of the city trout season and the beginning of the Mountain trout season. Catfish should start kicking up in the next few weeks as well. I would think that ND wouldnt have seasons.

April 21st is the opening season for trout here in CT. Ill be doing a bass tourny that day.

May 12th is the MN walleye/northern opener.
May 26th is bass opener.

Mmmmmm.... I love fish. Freshly caught walleye cooked w/shorelunch. Can't beat it.
