When is opener?

May 12th is the MN walleye/northern opener.
May 26th is bass opener.

Where are you located? You going out on opener?

April 1st here for all fish. But, most every body of water is still iced over. I really don't bother fishing until into May.

Central MN. Of course I'm going out on opener! It's pretty much a holiday here.

A friend of mine and I were thinking about going out at Midnight Sat. morning, but the last two years we've done that, we got nothing but freezing asses, and colds... Plus we were hardly awake enough to fish the next day.

Ever hear of Sugar Lake? Around Annandale? I think we might try around there. Some big Pike I hear.
