That's exactly what happened in my pressure tank, so they replaced the steel tank with a fiberglass tank

You got your money's worth. Mine only lasted about 8 years
 
I feel everyone's pain...I'll spare the details on mine. But you know, when all said and done, just all 1st world problems we have...lol

...and to top it all off, I broke a nail and the wifi is down....life is so unfair!

I know how you feel - we bought a new house - dropped the cash, got our well inspected, everything came up ok and moved in and the well went out within 2 weeks and cost an arm and a leg to get fixed.
