Those are just worms coming out with feeding tenticles. Nothing to worry about. I get them all the time in rock.

are u sure about that they seem to be coming from my sponges only....and its getting worse.....not pretty and they pull right off??

I have things like this...except mine are yellow.

I call mine spaghetti worms.

A lot of things will come into your reef, explode, and then enventually die down as they are limited by food.

Except for aptasia which they are not.

As far as them only living near sponges, it is probably because the sponges bring food to them.

dont think its spaghetti worms guys ill try and get a better pic they are not alive just really growing from the sponge!!
