IDK but I think you get a better personality if by them selves than together when mine were separated he or she would swim around in daylight when I was around the tank
I agree on separation the female may stress the male to the point of illness. I wonder if the Aimara are more solitary in the wild than other species of wolves.
Hey guys sorry for the late reply, I was out of state working and finally have some free time. So I ended up removing the FH in the tank with them to calm the aggression and luckily they have now just been swimming with each other with only 3 remaining silver dollars as tank mates. There is an occasional chase but now it’s just once a day or once every 2-3 days.
Also, what’s a good switch up on food for them? They sometimes beg for food and once I chop some fresh shrimp for them they don’t go at it as they used to? I was also feeding them salmon and they’d go nuts for it but now they just watch it drop lol. Any suggestions?
