Ive had a ray for about 4 months, and I want to add another ray. now my quesion is how do I make sure the ray is healthy, and whats the best way to take care of a new ray?

Check the sticky threads for answers on how to take care of new ones, as for where. I agree with above. Get a captive bred from one of the vendors or members who breeds them. This way you know it's healthy, you know where it came from, and you don't take from the wild at the same time.
well i got a reticulated one now i was going to look for a diffrent type but all they got at the store r more reticulated.
ok well motoros are one of the hardier rays... so i would suggest that, however motoros grow alot faster then retics, and they normally out compete the retics for food... How big is the tank and is there any tankmates?
