know where i can get one?

They seem to be rare, more so than I even thought? Last batch that came to the US was imported by Wes of RareFish in the MFK Classifieds area. I think he brought in 4 of them from India? This is one of those four.
Of course maybe someone else is importing them too but they haven't been advertising in the "usual" locations or I would of come across their ad?

Bagarius can be adapted to tropical temps like 78 degree water but you really need to take your time increasing the temperature, like weeks if you want to ensure safeness. DieselMack had done this with success with his Yarelli previously over about 2 months I believe he raised the temp to tropical temperatures from the common low 70's.

I would be a lot less worried about your bagarius not getting enough food and more worried about your tankmates (read: meals for the goonch) Fish like those bala sharks, tropical gar, and pikes I think would be in serious danger.

The fish would be a lot happier I'd think in the high current cooler water temps like you have it now.

i think this calls for a DIY... river tank style, something like 8ft by 6ft by 5ft deep, fast water, cool temp, DIY foam background to look like a rock outcropping.. gravel bottom... powerheads along the bottom to ensure a fast current..

really though dont mind me i just live vicariously through other peoples fish since i dont have room for anything other than my RTC in my little one bedroom apartment for now
