When to start feeding pellets?

i always try to feed pellets to my new aros. IME the smaller the aro the higher the chances of acceptance of pellets. My current new black aro accepted hikari floating sticks from the get go.

some of the large asian aros that i got do not accept pellets and i have not gathered enough will to battle them ... soon

Hi,already said pellets can be crushed and fed to small aros.
