When will it stop?

I think you will realize especially on this site that it never stops.

better start building the wall for the 300 gallon.

Ha! i fully agree.. i started with a 55 after years of no fish. i got it from lil brother for helping him move the other one. Went from the 55 to a 55, 10, 36, and now have had my 125 for over a year. mind you i didnt swap or sell any tanks as i found and brought home new ones, i still have them all 4 up and running, and soon, if plans go as they should, will have my new 300 project up and running.

Your 180 in wall is definitly a nice build, i love how clean and finished it looks. one question tho, is that real hardwood? it really sets off that room

The floor is Laminate because i was skeptical on hardwood because of the dampness in basements.

Thank you everyone for the comments.

Great story!

After not having a tank for a long time, I picked up a 36 gallon. After joining this site and planning for a while, I decided to jump straight to a 300 gallon. Before I got it, it seemed like a huge tank. Now it doesn't seem so big. I could see a 500 gallon or even bigger, but I'm limited on space right now.

So to answer your question, it doesn't stop!!

Cool setup! What fish are you planning to put in it?

verry nice indeed. cant wait to see the finished setup!!! keep pics coming

Thats the other half of my question lol.. i was wondering because ive heard nightmares of how the basement can ruin wood floors (im in florida so ive never had one) as well as with that tank build and all that possible water around. Its definitly stunner and like i said sets off the room, but id hate to see all that money go to something that gets ruined.. Keep the pics coming! cant wait to see more..
