What's the point of buying a 10g used, they are only around $10 for new tanks? I think 20g's are also pretty cheap.packer43064;3928059; said:It seems for the regular sized tanks...55,75,125,29 or super small tanks like 10's or 20 longs it's easier to buy used. But for the wierd tanks like hex's or corners or BiOrbs or round tanks it's almost always easier to buy new instead of looking for ages for a used one.
If you can't reseal then your shooting in the dark with a used tank unless it's less than a few years old. Nothing wrong with buying new BUT even new ones leak sometimes!!!bloodred;3928165; said:currently i bought all of my 4 tanks i own new cause im afriad of leakage which i aint good at resealing it.. yeah the money saved from buying used one could have gotten me a nice fish instead ><
Yep...you're Einstein in the fish dept.Oddball;3928224; said:Used. I advertise; 'Cash for Aquariums' in the regional classified papers (like The Little Nickel) before the Xmas holidays and just before tax time.
Same here all from Craiglist.kntrygrl4lyfe;3928270; said:After finding a used 125, drilled with over flows and a stand for 50 bucks, I don't think I could ever get myself to buy a new one. I love looking on craigslist. That's where all my tanks are from.
