When you guys say filter floss

I use the "pillow stuffing" in my XP trays. Just rip a chunck off and stuff it in there. I does clog fairly quickly and needs replacement, but it does a fine job of catching the junk and the water is super clear.
I also sometimes add a layer in the AC's between the sponge and bio rings, but it does tend to snag on the sponge when replacing.

i use polyester quilt stuffing too--its cheap at walmart and lasts quite a long time.. it makes the water nice and clear!

I like the bubble gum flavor floss best but red devils like the mint and they floss their teeth every night befor bed gosh they are great kids.:j/k:
